Midland is a small Cabarrus County town, about 22 miles east of Charlotte, with 4,684 residents in 2020, up 52.4% from 3,073 in 2010. It began as a railroad town around 1913, incorporated in 2000, and is home to the Reed Gold Mine, the site of the first gold discovery in the United States. Corning and Intertape Polymer are among its major employers.
Midland has shifted from farmland to a bedroom community for Charlotte commuters. With that much recent growth, a lot of the housing is relatively new, and equipment installed in the 2010s is reaching the age where water heaters and fixtures start to need work.

Fixture install & repair

A water softener, installed. Whole-house filtration and reverse osmosis cost more.
